Aerators (OHR)

  • Aeration tank in chemical plant. Wastewater : 24,000m3/day. The MLSS concentration is 5,000 to 8,000mg/ℓ , and lime accounts for 15 to 20% of the concentration.
  • Calcium carbonate (CaCo3 with a specific gravity of 2.7) flocculated badly, and removal of flocculation two weeks out of every year was required (average 0.9m, maximum 1.8m).
  • After replacement with an OHR Aerator, flocculation was drastically reduced and running conditions improved to the point that no flocculation was observed even when water was drained from the tank. Aeration tank size : 65.0mL × 6.0mW × 4.5mD = 1,755m3 × 6 tanks = 10,530m3 Installed aerator : AE-130N model × 424 units were installed.
  • Aeration tank in pharmaceutical plant. No clogging in the OHR Aerator for 14 years even in an aeration tank with 30% lime slurry. (since Feb. 1998)
